I just created this blog earlier today, it’s still on my local computer right now. I seriously plan to add this to Aetus Designs, and will probably pay more attention to it than the community section.
It was my original intention to build more of a content-based site (as opposed to community-centric) when it came to Aetus Designs. However, I admit I forgot all about it and was very busy for the whole of 2008, but well, all that’s done. Aetus Designs has a great community behind it right now, but I still want to focus a lot more on content. I don’t plan on scrapping the community forums at all, I will only shift the focus to this blog.
I also want to move slightly away from pure graphic design and have more programming and web design based content, so that would mean something along the lines of a complete re-branding. The reason behind this is that I recently switched to Ubuntu, and chose to start using the GIMP rather than running Photoshop on WINE, so I am somewhat learning graphic design all over again and don’t think I am really good enough to post any tutorials about it.
Right now my priority is to port all the tutorials over to this site, and design a custom theme.
I’ve got to say, I like the theme you have on here. It’s very nice and simple.
